In addition to being a law professor at American University Washington College of Law, I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in medical sociology.

I am conducting a studying examining the experiences of genetic counselors involved with reproductive health care. I hope to learn more about prenatal genetic counselors' perspectives on abortion regulations and how the regulatory environment surrounding abortion might impact the provision of prenatal care and reproductive health care more broadly. This study is approved by the UCSF Institutional Review Board (IRB# 24-42467).

Participation in this research involves a one-hour interview with me via telephone or secure online video conferencing system. I am interviewing genetic counselors who are involved with prenatal genetic screening, testing, and counseling in states across the U.S. Participating in research is voluntary, and no one will call you about participating in the study unless you contact them first. Participants will receive a $50 gift card as a thank you for their time.
